Practice Nights

Fleet Morris practice on Tuesday evenings 8.15-10.00 pm at Yateley Manor School, in the Gym.  Click here for a local map and campus map.

This year's Open Evenings will be on two Tuesdays in September (dates TBC).  If you would like to come and have a go, please contact Denise or Wendy for details.

Fleet Morris was formed in 1984, and has a wide repertoire of dances, mainly in the Cotswold style.

Our dances are based round those from the villages of Adderbury, Bampton, Ducklington, Fieldtown and Lichfield, with a few Border dances thrown in to change the tempo.

We meet every Tuesday evening at Quetta Community Hall, Church Crookham and welcome new members from September onwards. Our dancers are all female, but we have musicians of both sexes. You need no previous dancing experience to become a morris dancer, but an outgoing personality is an advantage, along with a good sense of humour, and a liking for a good social life.

As you can see from our programme, we travel far and near during the summer - what better way to enjoy the delights of the countryside!

This year Fleet Morris are supporting CHASE.  CHASE hospice care for children exists to support families with life-limited children - that is, children or young people who are not expected to reach the age of 19 because of illnesses that are incurable.
